2010 Conference Swimming Championships

 TIMERS & OFFICIALS

Timers

Ø    All teams are to provide one timer for the duration of each session (Some teams with only a few swimmers will be given an exception)

Ø    Teams may break up the timing assignments between the available parents as they see fit as long as a replacement timer arrives at a lane BEFORE the other timer leaves the lane.

Ø    We will have three timers on a lane and the remaining timers will be used as backups.

Ø    Teams with more swimmers may be required to provide more than one timer for a session if there is a timer shortage.  The decision will be based on the number of entries for a particular session.

Officials

Ø    Teams should bring at least one official per session.  However, we do understand that some teams only have a few swimmers and may not be able to fulfill this requirement.  Those teams have already expressed their concern to the meet director.

Ø    Larger teams with more officials are encouraged to provide more than one official.

Ø    All available officials should check in with the meet referee when they arrive at Frog Hollow.

Ø    Official assignments will be determined on the day of the meet by the meet referee.
